This documentary was created to uplift and humanize young Black and Brown fathers from West Michigan by allowing them to tell their own stories in their own voices. Too often, teenage fathers—especially fathers of color—are portrayed through stereotypes that ignore their love, commitment, and daily presence in their children’s lives. As the film shows, many young fathers are actively involved in their children’s lives, striving to be present and supportive despite the challenges they face.
